High Desert Medical Group’s priority is the safety of our patients and staff.

We were recently notified that LabCorp had an employee last week, June 16, 2020, that tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. LabCorp sent out a letter informing patients that there was a risk of exposure to the virus. This letter was sent out in an abundance of caution.

Please be advised that this employee that was positive for COVID-19 was not drawing blood or checking in patients. This employee was processing samples in the back of the laboratory most of the day and did not have close contact with any patients of HDMG.

We have spoken to LabCorp and verified that all HDMG patients visiting LabCorp’s station located at 43839 15th West, Lancaster CA are at low risk of exposure to COVID-19.

Please continue to monitor for symptoms for the next 14 days, and please contact us or your PCP if you have any fever, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, or cough.
